Gastric Bypass For Weight Loss

Should I Have A Gastric Bypass

It seems every couple of days there is story in the press relating to gastric bypass, the surgical procedure also known as stomach stapling whereby an extremely overweight person has their stomach rather unceremoniously operated on to reduce its capacity.

Two recent celebrities that have allegedly undergone the procedure are Fern Britton and Vanessa Feltz with varying degrees of success.

A recent story in the Daily Mail featured a 27 year old woman who lost 14st 4lb after her procedure. The Staffordshire woman went from 24st 2lb to just 9st 12lb – losing a stone immediately after the op. Now it seems her current dilemma is what to do about her excessive skin.

For every success story involving gastric bypass surgery you will no doubt read one that was not quite so successful – it is not without risks.

What Is A Gastric Bypass

Gastric bypass surgery involves making the stomach physically reduced and allowing food to bypass a region of the small intestine.

The bypass makes your stomach feel satisfied more rapidly than when your stomach was its original size. This in turn significantly reduces the size of the food portion you can eat.

Bypassing this region of the stomach results in fewer calories being absorbed. less calories absorbed means a reduction in excess fat.

The operation involves the stomach being made smaller by creating a small pouch towards the top of the stomach using special surgical staples or alternatively a small plastic band.

The smaller stomach is joined to the central part of the small intestine (jejunum), bypassing the other parts and the upper portion of the small intestine (duodenum).

Sounds complex.

Where To Go For A Consultation

Before you go to any private clinic make an appointment to visit your GP. Gastric Bypass surgery is not suitable for everyone.

Meratol Slimming Pills

Meratol Slimming Pill

Meratol is becoming one the most frequently searched for non prescription slimming pills, particularly as far as the UK is concerned.

From its inception and very media focused introduction it is now placed within the same bracket as some of the more familiar and historic brands.

Meratol’s rise to fame was almost instant when the Daily Express published an article highlighting its benefits and its association with some pretty high rollers in the celebrity circuit – it was coined the “Miracle Slimming Pill” and “The Slimming Pill That Keeps The Stars Slim

“4 Times As Effective As Other Slimming Pills”

Perhaps the biggest reason for its success is not connected to its marketing prowess but more towards its effect.

It is suggested that Meratol is 4 times as effective as a majority of competitive products.

Most commercial slimming pills concentrate on just one mechanic of action (ie fat burning, carb blocking etc) whereas Meratol contains 4 processes.

It contains a unique combination of capsicum (chilli), Prickly pear, brown algae and caffeine.

The four mechanics of action and associated benefits are:

  • Blocks Carbs – can lower carbohydrate intake by approximately 80%
  • Lowers Fat Intake – can decrease fat absorption by around 25%
  • Suppress Appetite – reduced food cravings and decreases calorie intake
  • Boost metabolism – speeds up the metabolic rate causing a fat burning effect

Where To Buy Meratol

Meratol is available to order directly for its online store.

Prices start at £34.99 for a month supply with multiple months available at price breaks.

Aspire Proof of Effect

Recently an experiment was performed at Leeds Metropolitan University who published the results of the effect caused by introducing Green Tea, Caffeine, amino acid and ginger at the same time in one formula ad if it cause a thermogenic effect.

Thermogenesis is the process whereby the body produces more heat to digest food and raises the metabolism expending more calories simultaneously.

The results although deemed authentic were rather limited and only featured 20 subjects – 11 men and 9 women. It has been suggests that the trial was too smal to draw any kind of typical conclusion.
